More Stuff

I'm still trying to wrap my head around what I want to do, so here are some odds & ends that inspire me:

I'm lovin' these pillows. I think I can probably find some similar fabric I like and make my own (or, let's be real -- Nana can make them).

If someone wants to give me $168, I'd buy this lamp up from Garnet Hill tomorrow. A.dor.a.ble.
And I lurrrrrrrrrrve this wall art. I'm hoping to recreate something similar. I even already have a perfect place in mind for it.

Dining Room

I was actually searching for dining room ideas, but came across this awesome living room by designer Nate Berkus. It's so awesome!

I love this. We have a little notch-back space for a buffet or china hutch or whatever and I love the idea of wallpapering just that part of the wall.

Other than that, I don't really have much direction for the dining room. We'll probably do a cherry table. I want rectangular and expandable. Beyond that, what we do in the formal living room will play a big part in what we do in the formal dining room.

I think I'll focus on the master bedroom next. I'm positive I want to do black and white with splashes of kelly green (my favorite color). I seriously CAN'T WAIT to start shopping for new bedding and accessories!

Living Room

Starting with a blank canvas is a bit overwhelming. I decided to start collecting ideas and inspirations in the hope that our new home doesn't remain white-walled and start for years.

We have a beige microfiber couch that we'll use in the room. The carpet will be a deep brownish beige. We're undecided on the wall color at this point. Entry is cherry hardwood and trim is white.
What we need (I want):
-arm chair
-coffee table
-lamps
-throw pillows
-window treatments
The dining room is connected to the living room, so I'll focus on that next. But for now, here are some of my inspire/desire list:

Tomorrow, the hunt for chairs continues. I'm going to search for throw pillows, too.
